The invention of classically trained multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer Joe Acheson, Hidden Orchestra are, according to the hype, the next big name in British Jazz. Thickly laden tracks, awash with intricate rhythms, samples and orchestration, make their debut record, Night Walks a truly sublime listen. If you’re into Cinematic Orchestra, Squarpusher or Bonobo then you’ll probably love Tru Thought’s latest sensation. The innovative Brighton record label will release Night Walks in September so keep your wallets ready. It has to be one of the best albums of this year so far.
